Winter Wolf Classic '09.  Thanks to all the Lady Wolves who volunteered during the holiday break at the Winter Wolf Classic Select Basketball Tournament.  Your efforts were truly appreciated!

Free-Throw-A-Thon.  A big thanks to everyone who came out to support the program and participate in the Annual Free-Throw-A-Thon.  The players listed below shot the most free-throws for their team.   A special congratulations to Rachel Ainslie.  Rachel broke the all-time record with 370 made free throws.  That is better than one made free throw every 2.5 seconds!  It was great to see the girls, young and old, spending time together and enjoying the game of basketball.  Awesome job everyone!

Fall League.
Pre-Season concluded with a 10-0 record.  The Lady Wolves also captured 1st Place in the end of the season tournament (shown above).  A huge thanks to Marc Adams, Troy Carlson, and Frank Zennan for their time and commitment coaching both the Varsity and JV team. Nice job everyone!

Oregon City Tournament.   The Lady Wolves traveled to Oregon City this summer and competed against some of the best teams in the Northwest.  A come-from-behind win against Bellarmine Prep made the journey especially sweet.

Congratulations.  Eastlake senior Alyssa Charlston has committed to play D1 Basketball for the University of Idaho next season.  The 6-foot-1 forward took an official visit over the weekend and decided the Vandals were the "perfect fit."  Charlston helped lead the Wolves to the 4A state tournament last season.

Lady Wolves Pitch In
This summer the Lady Wolves and Seattle Storm players teamed up with Mountain to Sound Greenway to clear blackberry bushes from Lake Sammamish State Park.  Just one of the many ways the team gives back to the community off the court.
