Coach Steve Jones returns to working with the Eastlake Girls program after a six year retirement.  He has been on the Eastlake Girls Basketball Booster Club board during this time.  He is a native of Issaquah High School, The University of Washington and has a masters degree from The University of Southern California.  He entered the education profession after a successful career in Naval Aviation.  A Vietnam veteran and graduate of The Navy Fighter Weapons School Top Gun were some of the highlights of is Naval career.  He was employed by the Lake Washington School District for 23 years as a math teacher at Evergreen for 6 years and 17 years at Eastlake.  He was the head track coach for 12 years and serves as the starter for home track meets.  He and his wife Cindy live in Redmond and has four sons and a daughter, three daughters-in-laws, one son-in-law and 15 wonderful grandchildren.  Great to be back with Coach Goldie and working as an assistant to former player Laura Bachman.
